11th BCS Forum meeting and new executive committee announced

After holding the eleventh BCS forum meeting and discussing various important issues of the forum, the new committee was unanimously elected.

On Sunday (March 1), the meeting of the eleventh BCS Forum was held at Biam Auditorium in the capital and retired secretary Dr. Md. Faridul Islam was elected as the new president and retired secretary Md. Ihsanul Haque was elected as the general secretary. Besides, former vice-principal of Dhaka Medical College Dr. Abdul Hanif Tablu was elected as the first vice-president.

The members present in the meeting warmly congratulated the newly-elected committee and expressed hope that the activities of the forum will be more dynamic under the new leadership.

President Dr. Md. Faridul Islam said – citizens of all levels have sky-high expectations for the new government that has come to power. Let a healthy political system return to the country, where commodity prices, corruption and law and order will be under control. The opponent will not be burdened with assault cases. We must work together with the government to build a discrimination-free Bangladesh.Coordination between various ministries and departments of the government is essential and our only objective is to take administrative decisions and implement the directives of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Finally, a prayer is made for the welfare of the nation.
