About 15 days after suppressing the rape incident in Madhavadi of Sadar Upazila of Narsingdi, various law enforcement units have arrested 5 people including the leader of the local BNP in the case of forcibly taking the girl away from her father and killing her after the visit.
The arrested are Mahishashura Union BNP Vice President Ahmed Ali Dewan, his son Imran Dewan, rapist Noor's cousin Mohammad Ayyub, Abaidullah and Md Ghaffar Mia. Fahima Begum, the mother of Amena Begum (15), who was killed on the night of Thursday, February 26, 2026, filed a case of murder after visiting the Madhavadi police station, mentioning the names of 9 people. Later in the night, different units of Narsingdi's law and order forces arrested five people in separate raids. It is to be noted that 5/6 miscreants gang-raped the girl under the leadership of Noora 15 days ago. Ahmed Ali Dewan, a local member and Union BNP vice-president, took responsibility for the trial. However, it is alleged that he embezzled huge sums of money by colluding with the criminals and covered up the incident without any trial and ordered the victim's father and his family to leave the village.
Criminals become more reckless as incidents go unpunished. After the rape incident on 10/2/26, the miscreant gang snatched away the victim girl from her helpless father. He was later gang-raped and brutally murdered. The victim ran away leaving the girl Amina Begum (15) behind in a mustard field at Kotalichar Darikandi of Mahishasura Union. The complaints of the local people are influential, these criminals evade the eyes of the law in exchange for money,He requested the higher authority of the administration to take care to prevent it. DIG of Dhaka range and Superintendent of Police of Narsingdi and other officials came to the spot at Madhavadi in Narsingdi to investigate the incident.
