
Lalmai Upazila Awami League leader Roni arrested in the case of attack on students in mass uprising
Lalmai Thana police of Comilla district arrested Abu Taher Roni, the leader of Lalmai Upazila Awami League, in the case of attack on the student crowd in the mass uprising of July 24, August.
Abu Taher Roni has been arrested in a case of Sadar South Police Station in connection with the attack on students during the July 2024 mass uprising, confirmed the OC of Lalmai Police Station.
Abu Taher Roni is currently the Forest and Environment Resource of Lalmai Upazila Awami League and is the husband of former Upazila Women’s Vice Chairman Mahmuda Akhter.
