The tendency to spend money to get political nominations, the influence of money in the electoral process and the use of money to gain power, and the election of citizenship abroad—these are the reasons why politics is moving away from public service and becoming a tool of personal interest.
Leaders also said that bribery to get jobs and use of influence and money for promotion has become a common pattern in various fields. As a result, those who acquire positions by spending money in this way, later indulge in the tendency of collecting that money from the people on interest. Corruption has become a cycle and is spreading at every level of the state.
The statement mentioned, money greedy person can never uphold ethics and ideals. Although they change parties and positions when necessary, their mentality remains unchanged. So it is not possible to bring about the desired change by just changing the party; A fundamental change in political culture and mindset is needed.
The organization also said that in the current situation, honest and patriotic people are gradually getting cornered, and dishonest and greedy people are becoming dominant in the society. If this trend continues, state institutions will be weakened and public confidence will be seriously damaged.
“Deshbandhu” remittance wars called for by Parliament—the greedy and corrupt must be identified and countered. People should elect leaders not on individuals, but on character, integrity and work.
