Report Popy: Today 06/03/26 at 15.00 pm, a rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of celebrating National Sports Day 2026 at the District Commissioner’s office premises and conference room. Deputy Commissioner Md. Raihan Kabir presided over the rally and discussion meeting. Additional District Magistrate Md. Kafi Bin Kabir, Additional District Commissioner Md. Sifat Uddin, Sarbik, Farzana Akhter Sathi, District Sports Officer, various sports organizers, various sports students of the district, officials of District Sports Directorate (80-90) were also present.

The national theme of this day is “Sports, profession, family will get hope”, the international theme is “Build national bridges and remove obstacles”.Sports should be added along with studies. Narayanganj district should participate in various sports and go to national and international level. The current government is serious about sports. We will try to create a good environment for the players.
