Md. Abzal Hossain elected office secretary in the Dhaka Bar Association elections

Md. Abzal Hossain Mridha has been elected as Office Secretary from the Bangladesh Nationalist Lawyers Unity Panel (Blue Panel) in Dhaka Lawyers Association Executive Committee 2026-27 elections.

Dhaka Bar is the largest bar in South Asia. Md. Abzal Hossain Mridha has won the office secretary post of Dhaka Lawyers Association 2026-27 executive committee election with a huge margin of votes.

He is a native of Habir Bari Seedstore Market in Bhaluka Upazila of Mymensingh District. He was born on 10th January 1985. His father is Md. Alauddin Mridha. Mata-Mosah Shamchunnahar Khatun.

Md. Abzal Hossain is the son of a mild-mannered lawyer family. His elder brother Md. Akram Hossain Mridha is a lawyer in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court Bar of Bangladesh. His younger brother Md. Aminul Islam Mridha is an apprentice lawyer at the Mymensingh District Bar.

Md. Abzal Hossain passed 5th standard from Mridha Pakhir Chala Primary School. He passed SSC from Habir Bari Union Sonar Bangla High School and College.
Passed HSC from Nasirabad College, Mymensingh.

LLB Honors from University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS).

Besides, he completed LLM from National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University.

Md. Abzal Hossain Mrida's wife Nazreen Jahan Bithi. They have two sons and one daughter. Elder son Md. Arshan Hossain Mridha and younger son Md. Adeeb Hossain Mridha. One daughter, Anabiya bint Hussain.

He is a skilled organizer as well as leading various organizations with success.

Md. Afzal Hossain Mridha said after being elected as office secretary.There were three candidates from three panels for the post of office secretary. The lawyers trusted me and made me win with huge votes. I am very thankful and grateful to all. This victory is the victory of lawyers. This victory is the victory of nationalism. After a long time, in a festive atmosphere, everyone is giving the responsibility of managing the bar to the chosen ones. With the cooperation of all, I will work with honesty and devotion for the welfare of lawyers, inshallah.
