Teknaf complains about the member's housework being done by the workers of Karsamsarihan

An allegation has been made against Hossain Ahmed, a member of Ward No. 4 of Hnila Union of Teknaf Upazila, Cox's Bazar, of using the workers of the program (employment) project for the extremely poor for personal house work.
According to the complaint, the workers of the job creation project have been engaged in various tasks including load-unloading of bricks and sand in the house under construction in front of the house of late HK Anwar, the former chairman of Hnila Union Parishad.
According to local sources, about 30 workers worked there on May 4, 2026, under the leadership of Mujib and Sultan, the project managers. Besides, on May 5, five more workers were engaged in the work of that house, the local conscious community complained.
According to the complaint, Yunus, Mahfuz, Noor Hossain, Md. are among the workers who took part in the work. Ayyub's son and another unidentified person.
A labor leader of Ward No. 4 of Hnila Union complained, "Members irregularly excluded many genuine workers and included their relatives and people from the Awami clan in the job creation project."
Locals complain that even during the previous Awami League government, Hossain Ahmed member used the workers of the job creation project for his personal work. Apart from this, there are allegations against him of irregularities in road construction, imprisonment in case of document forgery and nepotism in distribution of rice cards to the poor.
The accused member Hossain Ahmad tried to contact the accused several times on the phone but he did not answer the phone.

Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) said,"There is no permission for construction of private houses or housework by the workers of the employment project. This is unfair. Necessary action will be taken subject to inquiry by informing Mr. UNO."
