49 BGB seized illegal smuggled goods in a raid at Jessore border.

On Saturday (May 23), Jessore Battalion (49 BGB) conducted an anti-smuggling operation in the border area of Benapole BOP and Benapole ICP *Indian 130 sarees, 04 three-pieces, 3.5 kg of cumin, 114 packets of fuska, 10 kg of amsatwa, 04 packets of raisins, 18 packets of sesame leaves, 84 food items, 1037 chocolates and 2503 cosmetics items were seized. The value of the seized goods is Rs.

In this regard, Jessore Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Golam Mohammad Saiful Alam Khan, PSC said that for a long time intelligence activities and raids have been continued in the border area as per the special plan of BGB to arrest drug and smuggled goods. In continuation of this, Jessore Battalion is able to seize narcotics and various types of smuggled goods by conducting regular raids in the border areas under its responsibility. Such offensive activities of BGB will always continue on the border.
