Student leader Shamim gave 27 cows to 32 families

On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, sacrificial meat was distributed among the poor, helpless and low-income people of Panchbibi Municipality of Joypurhat.

On Friday night, 50 butchers prepared meat by sacrificing 27 big cows. More than 2,000 volunteer workers distributed 1 kg meat to 32,000 families in Panchbibi Municipality's 9th Ward in the morning. Like every year, the former organizing secretary of Joypurhat District Chhatra Dal, Md. Shamim Hossain Mondal, took such a humanitarian initiative. He distributed coconuts, sugar, sarees and lungis to the poor families of Sanatan religion during Durga Puja and Kali Puja with the aim of electing the mayor of the municipality in the future.

A sense of relief and joy is seen among the beneficiaries of this humanitarian initiative. Many people who came to take meat said that they could not sacrifice because they could not afford it. The meat they got is very good. Aid meat during Eid will benefit the joy of Eid to some extent. Many poor people say, we can never sacrifice. All the family will eat with what Shamim Mandal has given and pray for him. Another old beneficiary said, "Even though I went to many places, I did not get the meat of the sacrifice. I got the meat here. I pray that Allah will keep Shamim well."

Shamim Mandal said, I do BNP politics. "The main goal of my party is to bring smiles to the faces of the helpless people of the society. On the orders of party chairman and Prime Minister Tariq Rahman, we are distributing sacrificial meat among the poor to share the joy of Eid together on Eid. BNP always stands by the helpless people, this Eid I also tried a little. He also said that I will continue such humanitarian works. He further said, "People are for people. Every rich person in the society should come forward in these activities.

Locals said that such humanitarian initiative of Shamim Mandal by standing beside people through humanitarian work will be an example of humanity in the society.Aktar Hossain Bakul
