In government hospitals it is mandatory to ensure attendance of doctors during office hours (generally 8 am to 2:30 pm). Authorities can take strict action if a doctor stays in a private chamber or outside the workplace without permission during office hours. In such a situation, showing a thumbs up to the government's decision, going to Srimangal Upazila Health Complex in Moulvibazar on Wednesday morning, it was seen that homeopathic doctor Moin Uddin Ahmed Mamun and pharmacist Rupak often appeared at the hospital complex from 10 am to 10:30 am. Consumers who come to take advantage of this are in trouble.
Moulvibazar District Civil Surgeon Dr. Manunur Rahman said, "I am looking at the matter seriously and am informing the officer in charge of Upazila Health Complex and asking him to take appropriate action."When Dr. Cynthia Tasmin, Upazila Health Complex and Family Planning Officer was asked about this matter, she said, "Sir, I have been instructed to take appropriate action. Accordingly, I have instructed the two officials to show cause. And when Dr. Mamun was called for writing to inform about this, at 2 o'clock, he was absent, I have also given instructions to show cause."
