Strong condemnation and protest against the attack on journalists at Ad-Deen Hospital

The Dhaka Metropolitan Crime Reporters Society strongly condemns and protests the heinous attack on journalists at Ad-Deen Hospital in Moghbazar.

The attack on journalists working for truth and justice is not just a blow to a professional group, it is a direct attack on freedom of expression, right to information and democratic values. The incident of organized attack on journalists at Ad-Deen Hospital in Moghbazar is very alarming and reprehensible.

We believe that in a democratic state, journalists can never be attacked, intimidated or harassed. Such incidents are a serious threat to independent journalism and media security.

Dhaka Metropolitan Crime Reporters Society strongly demands the concerned authorities to immediately identify the people involved in this attack and bring them under the law and ensure exemplary punishment.

No evil force will succeed in obstructing the way of revealing the truth. The journalist community will stand united against injustice and oppression.
