About 15 days before the murder, the four accused made the final plan to kill Halima. According to that plan, after the evening of May 26, Halima was called to the river bank of Bara Bhaterchar area. From there he was taken by boat to a deserted corn field across the river. After that, the four of them ganged up on him. After the rape, Halima was strangled to death by tying her own clothes around her neck so that she could not open her mouth to anyone. After that, the murderers threw it into the river late at night to kill the victims.
