*Strongly condemning the beating of journalist Nargis Jui in the court premises.*
Incident: An unidentified person physically assaulted Bangladesh Television (BTV) Senior Journalist Nargis Jui in front of Court No. 6, 4th Floor, CMM Court under Kotwali Police Station today on 02/06/2026 at approximately 11:30 AM.
There are CCTV cameras at the scene.
In view of the victim’s complaint in this regard, it is specifically requested to take necessary legal action after proper investigation of the incident.
