Naogaon arrested one with 7 kg ganja

At the beginning of the year, 01 drug dealer was arrested with 07 kg of ganja in the anti-drug operation

On 31-12-2025 District Intelligence Branch Naogaon conducted anti-narcotics operation on the orders of Naogaon District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Tariqul Islam. During the operation, on the basis of secret information, the raiding team came to know at 10 o’clock in the night that a musician businessman was carrying drugs with a sack of chaat on his head in front of the house of one Ramzan Ali in Thup Shahar village area under Badalgachi police station of Naogaon district. The accused Saddam Hossain (31), father of Majid Sang Chak Mathur, checked the news.
After learning about the presence of DB Police of Thana Badlgachi District Naogaon, someone started going towards Kalabagan of Samchhul. Team DB searched the bag in his custody and recovered and seized 07 kg of Gaza. In this regard, the Badal Gachi police station is in the process of filing a case against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act.In this regard, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Tariqul Islam said that the anti-narcotics campaign will be strengthened in the new year 2026 to control drugs from Naogaon. At the same time, he requested sincere cooperation from all parties in drug control.
