Hafizur Rahman Kaliganj2 Bangladeshis were injured in firing by BSF during the infiltration of Bangladesh through the Satkhira border on a smuggled route after working in a brick kiln in Tamil Nadu, India for a long time. The injured are Shaheen (30) son of deceased Khajer Ali Sardar of Shitalpur village of Mathureshpur union of Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira and Mohiuddin (43) son of Gholam Rabbani of the same village. Locals believe that this incident may happen on Wednesday (June 3) around half past one. He reached a place called Paukhali in Kaliganj with the help of a private car through the border brokers. At that time, with the help of locals, the injured was brought to the emergency department of Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex around 5:30 in the morning. Dr. Suzayed Hossain, who was on duty at that time, gave them first aid and they were quickly sent to Satkhira Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated, Dr. Suzayed Hossain told this representative. He also said that the injured Mohiuddin had bullet marks on his head and wrists and Shahin’s back. After receiving the information, Jewel Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj police station, reached the spot hospital and said to send the injured to Satkhira Medical College Hospital. However, when the officer in charge of the police station called Jewel Hossain in this regard, he did not receive. However, although there have been rumors of conflicting statements about the incident and location of the shooting, it has not been possible to know the actual incident. However, many people are concerned about the issue of Kushkhali in Satkhira Sadar and some say that it may happen on the border of Basantpur and Bansh Jharia in Kaliganj. However, this has been denied by Basantpur and Bansh Jharia camps. However, Suzayed Hossain, the doctor on duty at the hospital, told this correspondent that the seriously injured told him that they used to work as brick kiln workers in Tamil Nadu, India, about 1 year ago in search of work. In the current political context in India, this incident happened when they crossed the border illegally through brokers and infiltrated into Bangladesh. Besides, it was not possible to know anything else from them. Presently 2 injured people are under treatment in Satkhira Medical College Hospital.
