Asef Bari Tutul’s Lions Multiple District 20 medal

On April 15, 2026, at the Lions District MD 20 Annual Convention at the Downtown Syracuse Marriott Hotel in New York, the “Council of Governors” Committee recognized Lion Asef Bari Tutul, Governor of District 20 R-2 of the 11 Districts, for his outstanding leadership, vision, dedication and unwavering commitment to service. Awarded the “Outstanding Performance Award” as the Governor of the Year in recognition. Khabar Ibn News.

It should be noted that in the 11 districts included in Multiple District-20, a total of 7 new Lions Clubs were established in the 2025-2026 working year, out of which Governor Asif Bari Chutul alone established 5 new Lions Clubs.
Which in his governorship year 2025-2026 achieved the status of District-29R-2 being the “Number One” District. District-20 R-2 was recognized as a full district during Lion Assef Bari Tutul, which is the first time in 12 years that the district has achieved District-20-R-2 status under the leadership of Assef Bari Tutul. Under his leadership, 5 Lions Clubs and 1 Leo Club were established and adding 227 new members to the Lions family is not only an achievement but a legacy. Lion Asif Bari Tutul’s passion in Lionism will inspire every Lion member with greater purpose and greater positive impact in the days to come, the high officials of the “Council of Governors” expressed hope and wished Governor Asif Bari Tutul continued success.

It is noted that Lion Asef Bari Tutul achieved the honor of being the first Bengali Lion District Governor which inspired him to serve the Bangladeshi community with brilliance and unity. No previous Governor of District-20 R-2 has achieved the distinction of founding 6 new Lions Clubs at once.
