Comilla Medical College announced new admission and new committee of candidates

Comilla Medical College (KUMEC) campus announced the orientation program ‘Pragnadeepta-35’ for the 35th batch students and the new executive committee for the session 2026-27 by the medical college unit in a very festive atmosphere.
On Monday (May 4) in a program organized at the Medical College campus, the former members of Thanthi and the teachers of Comilla Medical College gave guidance to the new students. BMU Deputy Director and DAB Central Committee Joint General Secretary Dr. Dr. Abu Nasser, professor of anatomy of Dhaka Medical College. Shakil Shams, Vice Principal of Comilla Medical College Dr. Dr. Sajib Ur Rashid and Civil Surgeon of Comilla. Ali Noor Mohammad Bashir Ahmed.
Also as a special guest District Surveillance Medical Officer Dr. Kausar Al Amin, District Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Reza Md. Sarwar Akbar, Medical Officer of the Civil Surgeon Office Dr. Dr. Shafiqul Islam, UHFPO of Comilla Sadar. Zakaria Mahmud, the central vice-president of private medical students. Rabiul Islam Patwari was present.
Former Professor (gynecology) Dr. was present from the teacher panel of Comilla Medical College. Shakhawat Ullah, Associate Professor Dr. Masum Hasan (Urology), Dr. Masum Imran (Neuromedicine), Dr. Farhana Ruma (gynecologist), Dr. Tanya (Physiology), Dr. Hafsa (pharmacology), Dr. Saleh Ahmed (Medicine), Dr. Enamul Haque (Medicine) and Assistant Professor Dr. Tamannaah (Singer).
The outgoing president Dr. Shahriaz Roman and General Secretary Shahidul Islam presented the annual report of the previous session. Notable activities in the report included: 786 bags of blood exchange, free blood grouping and donation programme. 40 bags of negative blood supply on an emergency basis during the Milestone tragedy and measles and dengue awareness social campaign and vaccination programme.
The second phase of the ceremony saw the announcement of the new Executive Committee for the 2026-27 session. Shakeel Ahmed Turya as president and Khairul Alam-Who was elected General Secretary. The invited guests welcomed the new committee with flowers.
Dr. was in the overall direction of the whole arrangement. Saiful Islam Shubo, Dr. Mirza Md. Shah Alam and Dr.Ren Hayat Khan and many others. The speakers urged the new committee members to speed up the humanitarian service activities of Thanthi.
