Excavator useless in operation against illegal soil cutting in Buxmahmud Ketranga

Assistant Commissioner of Lands SM Shafayat Akhtar Noor conducted a mobile operation late last night in Ketranga area of Buxmahmud Union of Feni’s Parashuram Upazila on charges of illegal cutting of soil without permission. An excavator (excavator) was seized and rendered completely useless in the raid.
According to the administration sources, the concerned claimed that they were carrying out the soil cutting work only with permission. However, on scrutiny, it can be seen that signature, seal and docket number have been forged on the displayed approval letter.
The administration said that the process of identifying the fraudsters involved in the incident and taking legal action against them is ongoing.
Locals said,For a long time, the environment and agricultural land were being damaged due to illegal cutting of soil in that area. They expressed their satisfaction with such an operation of the administration.
