Ramu Thana police arrested 7 people with weapons, ammunition and various robbery tools while conducting a raid in Rashidnagar Bara Dhilirchara area of Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar.

According to police sources, a team of Ramu Thana Police conducted a raid in Bara Dhilirchara area of ​​Rashidnagar Union on the basis of secret information on Tuesday night. At that time, the members of the organized robbery group were gathering at a place and preparing for the robbery. The police managed to arrest them.

The police said that domestic weapons, ammunition and various tools used in robbery were recovered from the arrested persons. However, the names of those detained were not immediately released.

Ramu Thana police said,Legal action is in process against those arrested and the operation is on to identify others involved in the incident.
