rakhin report : Abdul Quddus Moaz, general secretary of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League Sherpur Government College branch and an active member of the district Chhatra League, has passed away. He died on Wednesday (May 6) while undergoing treatment at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital after suffering a heart attack just a week after being released on bail after serving more than seven months in prison in a political case.

According to family sources, Abdul Quddus Moaz’s Janaza Namaz will be held at the Mirganj Barakpara Eidgah ground in Sherpur on Wednesday after Asr. His body is scheduled to be buried at the local cemetery after the funeral.

As news of his death spread across the area, political colleagues and ordinary students mourned. Leaders and activists at various levels of the district have expressed deep grief and condolences to the bereaved family through social media and condolence messages.After a long jail term, Moaz returned home after being released on bail through legal process last week.
