Journalist Sonali and 3 journalists and pedestrians were seriously injured in the collision between two cars

It is reported that at least 3 journalists including pedestrians were injured in a head-on collision between two auto-rickshaws in the area adjacent to Mission Para Boishakh Hotel in Narayanganj city. Sonali, a journalist of daily Sojasapta newspaper, was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in the emergency department of Khanpur 300-bed hospital.

Eyewitnesses said that a collision occurred between two speeding autorickshaws. Pedestrians nearby also panicked and some were injured. The local people quickly rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital.

A passerby said, suddenly heard a loud noise and saw that two cars had collided. Some fell down. The locals quickly came forward and arranged to send the injured to the hospital.

Another eyewitness commented,
“Such reckless driving is often seen. Such accidents can be reduced a lot by following the rules.”
