DC Masud is the Police Superintendent of Chittagong

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). Masud Alam has been appointed as Police Superintendent of Chittagong District.

He has been transferred in a notification issued in this regard by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday.

Masood Alam is a member of 28th batch of BCS Police. His home is in Bogra district.

This officer, who has experience of serving in important police units, came into discussion during his tenure as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) of Ramna Division.

The notification has reshuffled the post of Superintendent of Police of 12 districts. Apart from Masud Alam, Deputy Commissioner of Police of DMP Mallik Ahsan Uddin Sami, Superintendent of Police of Satkhira Arefin Jewel, Superintendent of Police of APBN, Superintendent of Police of Sardar, Rajshahi Md Abu Saleh. Ashraful Alam to Satkhira, Chandpur Police Superintendent Rabiul Hasan to DMP Deputy Police Commissioner, Jhalkathi Police Superintendent Mizanur Rahman to Chandpur Police Superintendent, CID Special Superintendent of Police Pratyush Kumar Majumdar to Jhalkathi Police Superintendent, Moulvibazar Police Superintendent Mohammad Billal Hossain to Naval Police Superintendent, RMP Deputy Police Commissioner Riazul Islam to Moulvibazar.
Superintendent of Police, Chittagong Superintendent of Police Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan as Superintendent of Police APBN, Superintendent of Police Feni Shafiqul Islam as AIG of Police Headquarters and Deputy of CMP.Commissioner of Police Mohammad Mahbub Alam Khan has been made Superintendent of Police, Feni.
