Human chain in Rangamati demanding setting up of regional training center of BKSP in district headquarters

A human chain was held in Rangamati demanding the establishment of a regional training center of BKSP at the district headquarters.

On Wednesday (October 22) at 11 am, this human bond was held under the initiative and organization of Rangamati Club Association.

Dipen Talukdar Dipu, general secretary of Rangamati District Sports Association, Saiful Islam Shakeel, president of Pratibhash Club, Pritimoy Chakma, president of Chadak Club, Sadananda Chakma, convenor of Bradas Club and other leaders spoke in the human chain.

Mari Chowdhury, Anuching Mogini, Varun Vikas Dewan, Monika Chakma, Rituparna Chakma, Rupana Chakma in football and Sur Krishna Chakma in boxing are proof of success.This region is a treasure trove of latent talent. But unfortunately, due to lack of adequate infrastructure and professional training, numerous talents are lost before they are developed. If the regional center of BKSP at Rangamati Sadar, it will take the sports tradition of the district to a unique height.

The speakers also said that a cabal is conspiring to thwart the great initiative taken by the government to establish regional center of BKSP in Chittagong Hill Tracts.If it is set up in an upazila for private interest instead of Rangamati Sadar, its main purpose will be disrupted. Therefore, the speakers in the human chain made a strong demand to set up the regional training center of BKSP at the district headquarters.

At the end of the human chain, a memorandum was sent to the advisor of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Director General of BKSP through the Deputy Commissioner on the same demand.
