Chhatra League worker killed in Chittagong BNP-Jamaat attack: ‘Shoe thief’ Litton

A 17-year-old young and innocent Chhatra League activist lost his life due to political violence in Chittagong city. He was admitted to Chittagong Medical College (CHMEC) hospital with serious injuries after being severely beaten by Jamaat-BNP mob terrorists and died while undergoing treatment.

The name of the deceased youth is Rakib (17). He is ChittagongA resident of Biswa Colony, Ward No. 9 of the city, and was an active worker of the Ward Chhatra League. Deceased Rakib is the only child of his parents.

According to local sources, the BNP Jamaat Shibir Mob terrorist group ambushed Rakib in Ward No. 9 Biswa Colony area on Wednesday afternoon. Family members and party workers have alleged that the brutal attack was led by a local BNP Chchra leader.Known as ‘Shoe Thief’ Lytton and his fellow terrorists.

Witnesses said Rakib was first brutally beaten in public and left with serious injuries on the street.

It is known that the attackers handed him over to the police after beating him.

Police quickly rescued him from the spot and took him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Doctors on duty there declared him dead after examinationdo Doctors said that Rakib died due to severe injuries on the head and other parts of the body.

Rakib’s sudden death has left his family in deep mourning. He was the sole support of the family. Hearing the news of the child’s death, his parents faint again and again.

Ward Chhatra League strongly condemned this murder. They alleged that Jamaat-BNP alliance terroristsThe attack was carried out premeditatedly out of influence of power and political vendetta. Ward Chhatra League leaders demanded the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of BNP leader ‘Juta Chor’ Liton and his associates.

When asked about this, the officer-in-charge (OC) of the concerned police station said, “As soon as we got the news, we sent Rakib to the hospital with serious injuries. ButUnfortunately he died. The victim’s family has made a specific complaint and we have taken it into consideration. An operation has been launched to arrest the accused. The incident is under investigation.”

At present Rakib’s body has been kept at Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Due to this murder, there is a tense situation in the area.
