Mizanur Rahman with the help of officer forces in connection with hilsa conservation campaign’ 2025 in Karnaphuli river along CUFL Jetty and Kafco Jetty of Bairag Union under Karnaphuli Thana.01 life boat, 01 wooden boat, 01 fishing boat, 01 life boat, 01 fishing boat, 01 life boat, 01 fishing boat were arrested and 156 kg of hilsa fish, the price of which is 500/- per kg of fish, total value is 78,000/- and 03 boats were recovered and seized. Later, when ASI Rubel Majumder and ASI Alim Ullah filed a statement at Karnaphuli police station, 02 separate cases were filed. whichKarnaphuli Police Station Case No-28, Tang-25/10/25, Section-5(1)/5(2)(b) of the Fisheries Protection and Conservation Act, 1950 and Karnaphuli Police Station Case No-29, Tang-25/10/25, Section-5(1)/5(2)(b) of the Fisheries Protection and Conservation Act, 1950. Case 02 was handed over to SI Muhammad Ariful Alam Apu and SI Bikas Saha.
