Road renovation in voluntary work in Birganj: setting a humanitarian example by Jamtoli Yuvashlyan Parishad

Jamtoli Youth Council has set a shining example of humanity in Dinajpur’s Birganj. The members of the organization have set an example in the area by renovating dirt roads themselves on the basis of voluntary work.

The unpaved road from Jamtoli of Shatagram Union of Birganj Upazila to Badla Ghat of Nilphamari has been damaged by continuous rains for several days.Completely immobilized. The roads were in such bad condition that even large vehicles – ordinary pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, vans, CNGs could not move. Locals including school going students have to suffer a lot.

In such a situation, the members of the Jamtoli Youth Council started to repair the road through their own initiative. After several days of tireless work, they repaired the roadmade useful.

Residents, pedestrians and transport workers expressed relief and joy after the road was repaired. They highly appreciated the humanitarian initiative of the organization. Residents claim that they have drawn the attention of public representatives and the government to ensure the paving of this road as soon as possible.
