Natore village court held half-yearly coordination meeting

A half-yearly coordination meeting was held to review the progress of the village court system at the district level and take action

03rd November (Monday) District Administration Natore and Bangladesh Village Courts Activation 3rd Phase Project organized by Ministry of Local Government and Cooperatives was held in the conference room of District Commissioner Natore.

Deputy Director of Natore District Local GovernmentMr. Sumaiya Mumtaz, ADLG of Local Government Department presided over the program under the chairmanship of Md. Abul Hayat. Natore Deputy Commissioner Mr. Asma Shaheen, Additional Superintendent of Police Natore, all upazila executive officers of Natore district were present along with 34 union administrative officers and on June 28, all upazila coordinators including the district manager of the village court project were present.

Bangladesh at this timeTo facilitate access to justice for the poor and disadvantaged communities, Bangladesh Gram Adalat Activation III Phase III Project, which was implemented by the Local Government Department, showcased various judicial activities that would save both time and money for the sake of justice and ensure proper justice, said the speakers of the event.
