Driver killed, 1 injured in motorcycle-autobike collision

In Lebukhali of Dumki Upazila of Patuakhali district, a motorcyclist named Junayed (22) died in a head-on collision between an autobike and a motorcycle. Jihad (18), a passenger of the same motorcycle, was seriously injured in the incident. The accident took place at Kathaltala area on Lebukhali-Dumki road around 7:30 pm on Thursday. Eyewitnesses said that a speeding auto bike was going in the opposite direction.The driver Junayed died on the spot when he hit the motorcycle. Jihad, who was behind, fell down and was seriously injured. After the accident, the relatives took the body of Junaid. The injured Jihad was sent to Shere-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barisal. After receiving the news, SI of Dumki police station Md. Sahidul Islam seized the auto bike and motorcycle.
