
The 28th anniversary of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Agreement was celebrated in the capital.
Adviser Ambassador (retd) on Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Mr. Supradeep Chakma extended greetings and congratulations to the people of Chittagong Hill Tracts from all walks of life on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Agreement. He said, this agreement is not just a political compromise, but it is in full adherence to the sovereignty and integrity of Bangladesh under the constitution of the country.A noble undertaking founded on the principles of peace, coexistence and justice.
He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the seminar titled “The Chittagong Hill Tracts Accord: Transforming harmony into prosperity” organized by the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts at the Chittagong Hill Tracts Complex Auditorium, Bailey Road, Dhaka on Tuesday.

Adviser Supradeep Chakma also said that various initiatives have been taken to reach remote areas with modern e-learning facilities and improve living standards based on equality.
