59 BGB raid in Chapainawabganj seized Phencidil alternative Choco Plus Syrup

Chapainawabganj Mahananda Battalion 59 BGB has learned through various sources that during the ongoing winter season, the smuggling of narcotic Choco Plus syrup used as an alternative to Phensidyl from India can add a new dimension. Based on that information, intelligence activities and patrolling were intensified along the responsible border by the Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB). As a result of this success, a special patrol team of Sonamsjid BOP conducted an operation last (December 03) at 7 pm based on secret information and was able to seize 150 bottles of Indian Choco Plus syrup without owner inside Bangladesh approximately 40 yards from border pillar 185/17-S. At present, the process of handing over the seized Choco Plus Syrups to Shibganj Police Station is ongoing as part of the legal process. Note that in the last 01 months, this battalion has been able to seize around 200 bottles of Choco Plus Syrup. In this regard, the commander of Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) Lt Col Golam Kibria, BGBM, BGOM confirmed the truth of the matter. he saidBGB’s zero tolerance policy against drug smuggling continues.
