Chapainawabganj Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) gave an opportunity to see the body of the Indian citizen in a humanitarian instance. Last December 04 at seven o’clock in the evening Foni Begum (75), wife of Kasimuddin, a resident of Kaliachak Thana Duchtardighir village in Malda district, died due to old age. On receiving the news, Fani Begum’s brother Ataur Rahman (60), who died in Binodpur Zaminpur village of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, and his relatives applied to the BGB to see the body. In view of that application, BGB immediately contacted BSF and yesterday (December 05) arranged to show the body of the deceased at border pillar 179/3-S of the responsible area of ​​Kiranganj BOP under Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) in the presence of BGB-BSF till 8:30 am. Seeing the body, the Bangladeshi relatives were overwhelmed with emotion and expressed their gratitude to the BGB for seeing their relatives for the last time.
