Youth arrested with 10 bottles of Escap syrup and 23 beers at Bhandarua Bridge in Teliapara

Police arrested a youth with 10 bottles of Escape syrup and 23 beers in Teliapara Bhandarua Bridge area of Madhavpur Upazila of Habiganj.

On Friday (December 5) based on tip-off, Harshpur Teliapara police outpost in-charge Muhammad Khairul Bashar led, newly joined SI Jamal, and ASI Shahidul, ASI Hannan and Sangiya Force conducted the operation on responsible action. The speed and efficiency of the police in this operation has been appreciated locally.

The arrested youth, Abid Mia, is a resident of Dharmandal village of Nasirnagar police station in Brahmanbaria district.
During the raid, ASI Shahidul and Sangeet force arrested him red-handed along with drugs.

Madhavpur police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Sahid Ulya said-“Our stand against drugs is strict. Police is working tirelessly to keep the society drug free. The members of Teliapara outpost are working with utmost honesty and devotion. Regular cases under Narcotics Control Act are being filed against the arrested.”
