Operation Devil Hunt Phase-II; 6 arrested in Khulna, Bagerhat and Satkhira in overnight raids

On Saturday 20th December 2025 in the afternoon Coast Guard media officer Lt. Commander Siyam-ul-Haq gave this information. He said that on the basis of secret information, from 5 pm on December 19 to 6 am on Saturday, December 20, 2025, 5 separate special operations were conducted by Coast Guard West Zone in Mongla and Morelganj of Bagerhat, Rupsa and Dakop of Khulna and Jaikhali area under Shyamnagar Thana of Satkhira. During the raid, Asaduzzaman Sabuj (34), Md. Shaheen Alam (48), Rabiul Islam Litu (58), Sheikh Azharul Islam (67), Bidyut Biswas (66) and Md. Shahinur Gazi (38) were arrested from the said areas. All the people arrested in the operation are local activists of the banned Awami League. Later, the process of handing over the arrested persons to the respective police station is under process. He also said that the law of the country-The Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future to maintain law and order.
