District Chhatra League president arrested at the airport while fleeing the country

Rajbari District Chhatra League President Md. Shaheen Sheikh has been arrested. While fleeing the country, the leader of the banned student organization Chhatra League was arrested at the immigration of Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Rajbari Additional Superintendent of Police Tapas Kumar Pal confirmed the truth of the matter today at 3:15 pm on Friday.

He said that Shaheen Sheikh was arrested from the immigration of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Shahin Sheikh is the son of deceased Lokman Sheikh of Rajbari Sadar Upazila. In March 2022, he was appointed as the President of Rajbari District Chhatra League.

Mass of 5th August 2024He was in hiding since the fall of the Awami League government in a coup. There are several cases of the 24th July Movement under his name.
