Jamaat candidate Mufti Amir Hamza declared undesirable in Bhangura

Mufti Amir Hamza, Jamaat nominated candidate of Kushtia-3 constituency, has been declared undesirable from Bhangura for making ugly statements about late President of Bangladesh and founder of BNP, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, late Arafat Rahman Koko. This announcement was made by Bhangura Upazila Chhatra Dal member secretary Likhan Sarkar and former Chhatra Dal leader Shamim.
He said in an interview at around 8 pm on Sunday, Amir Hamza was declared uninvited from Bhangura until he retracted his distorted statement.
The post went viral instantly, BNP leaders and activists at various levels commented in support of the post. When asked to inquire about this over the phone, Likhan said that Arafat Rahman is the son of Koko Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and three-time successful Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia. That is why Mufti Amir Hamza’s statement has drawn widespread criticism across the two countries.
