
Discussion meeting and doa mahfil held in memory of late Begum Khaleda Zia in Panchari
Remembrance meetings and doa mahfils were held separately in Mollapara and Madhyanagar areas of No. 5 Ultachari Union of Panchhari Upazila of Khagrachhari District to seek forgiveness of the departed soul of three-time former Prime Minister and former Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) late Begum Khaleda Zia.
On Monday (January 19) afternoon, these discussion meetings and prayer mahfil were organized under the initiative of Madhyanagar Center Committee.
Zahedul Islam, former general secretary of Khagrachari District Chhatra Dal, was present as the chief guest.
Joint editor of Panchari Upazila BNP was present as a special guest. Tofazzal Hossain, human rights affairs secretary. Kamruzzaman, office secretary. Al Amin, former senior vice-president of Khagrachari District Chhatra Dal Bappi Majumder and joint-editor Mizanur Rahman Mizan.
Panchari Upazila Juba Dal convener was also present at the event. Afsar, the convenor of the volunteer team Syed Md. Idris Ali, convenor of Chhatra Dal. Leaders, supporters and local voters of BNP and affiliated organizations including Didarul Alam.
At the end of the meeting, Milad and prayers were conducted by the Director of Mollapara Darul Uloom Orphanage and Shelter. Zakaria and Madhyanagar Senior Madrasah Principal Maulana Md. Tamiz Uddin
