The monthly meeting of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Society was held. Bangladesh Society President Ataur Rahman Salim presided over this meeting which was held at the organization’s own office on Sunday evening, January 11, 2926. In the meeting, it was decided to organize the annual Qur’an recitation competition, Iftar and Doa Mahfil on the initiative of Bangladesh Society on Sunday, March 1, 2026. A convening committee was also formed to make the event a success. In the committee, Vice President Kamruzzaman Kamrul has been made the convener and cultural secretary Anik Raj as member secretary. Apart from this, schools and education secretary Mohammad Hasan Jilani, joint convener, executive member Abul Kashem Chowdhury joint member secretary and organizing secretary Duke Khan has been given the responsibility of chief coordinator.

It was also decided in the meeting that on the occasion of International Mother Language Day and Great Martyr’s Day, the day will be celebrated with due dignity at the office of Bangladesh Society on 21st February.

Meanwhile, the meeting protested against the wrong and misleading information published in some media about the recent general meeting. At the same time, the media is urged to publish correct and accurate information.
