Yaba worth one and a half crore seized in Teknaf

Coast Guard has seized 30,000 pieces of yaba after raiding Shahparidwip area of Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar. The organization claims that the estimated value of the yaba is about one and a half crore rupees.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lt. Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan gave this information on Friday (March 6) afternoon.
he said,Based on secret information, around 5 pm on Thursday, the members of Coast Guard Outpost Shahparidwip conducted a special operation in the area adjacent to Jaliapara of Teknaf police station. At this time, 30 thousand pieces of yaba were recovered in an abandoned state. During the operation, no one could be arrested as the drug traffickers fled. Further legal action is pending in this regard.”
