Alleged beating of teacher for cheating in LLB exam

Two candidates have been expelled from the LLB final examination held at Tejgaon College Center in the capital on charges of cheating. It has been alleged that a teacher on duty was assaulted and beaten up in this incident.

According to eyewitnesses and college sources, physics department teacher Sohail Rana identified two candidates for cheating in the examination hall and when he informed the examination control committee, the accused assaulted him.
Later, when they came out of the hall after the exam, the two candidates ambushed and beat teacher Sohel Rana and injured him.

Later, with the help of other teachers, the injured teacher was rescued and given first aid.

In this regard, the victim teacher Sohel Rana said on the phone, “While I was on duty in the examination hall, two students were copying.” When I interrupted them, they assaulted me and threatened to watch me if I left the hall. Then they ambushed me as I went down another flight of stairs to avoid trouble.

According to the college administration, as part of the strict vigilance of the national university and college administration to ensure a plagiarism-free environment, the program of conducting examinations is continuing.
Two examinees accused of indiscipline have been expelled from the examination.

The accused two examinees are Md Russell Mia and Shariful Islam, LLB final year students of Ideal Law College.
