“Deshbandhu” Remittances Yudda Sangsad leader Abdul Moklis, son of Jalalpur village in Sylhet, Newcastle and northeast expatriate of United Kingdom, passed away last Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 7 pm (Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). The deceased was buried at the West Road Cemetery after the prayers.
In the condolence message, the leaders said that the expatriate Bangladeshi community has lost a respected figure in the death of late Abdul Moklis. His contribution and memory will forever be remembered with respect.
The leaders sought forgiveness for the soul of the deceased and prayed to Almighty Allah—May Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) forgive all his sins, widen his grave, grant him the highest status of Jannatul Firdaus, and grant patience and strength to the bereaved family.
