Authorities are looking for relatives in Kurigram Sadar Hospital

A young man named Rabiul Islam (30) died while undergoing treatment at Kurigram Sadar Hospital. After his death, no relatives or heirs were found, so the body was kept in the hospital’s freezer as heirless.

According to hospital sources, Rabiul Islam’s home is in Nageshwari Upazila of Kurigram, according to the admission register. His father’s name is Ismail Hossain. On April 22, 2026, he was admitted to Kurigram Sadar Hospital due to heart problems. He died while undergoing treatment there.

According to the hospital authorities, no family members or relatives have been found since his death. The matter has also been informed to the concerned police station.

Meanwhile, the hospital administration requested everyone’s cooperation – if anyone knows the deceased Rabiul Islam or knows the trace of his family, they are requested to contact the Kurigram Sadar Hospital authorities immediately.

The local administration and hospital authorities expressed hope,His relatives will be traced soon and the body can be duly handed over to the family.
