
The Relief Minister has issued a strict warning in preparing the list of affected farmers in Biswambharpur.

Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib has given a stern warning that any kind of irregularity or falsification will not be tolerated in the preparation of the list of affected farmers in Haor area of Vishwambharpur Upazila of Sunamganj.
He said that the affected farmers will be given government incentives for the next three months and special cards will be issued for them.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest in the discussion meeting with the farmers, government officials, public representatives and people of various professions in Haor area at Biswambharpur upazila hall on Tuesday (May 5).
The relief minister also said that the activities of the present government will continue with the assistance of the affected farmers of Howran area. Short, medium and long term plans will be adopted for crop protection. He said that the Prime Minister has already given several instructions in this regard.
The meeting was attended as special guests by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance and Planning Rashid Al Mahmud Titumir and other local members of parliament and senior officials of the administration.In the afternoon, the relief minister inaugurated the government aid distribution program among 400 affected farmers in Karchar Haorpar area of Biswambharpur upazila. Each farmer was given Rs 7,500 in cash and 20 kg of rice.
