A. Due to the completion of the prescribed period of government service, the Acting Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mr. Md. Sarwar retired.

b. After retirement, he handed over the charge to Mr. SN Nazrul Islam, Additional Commissioner (Crime and Operations) of DMP tonight.

c. It is learned that the functioning of the DMP will be under the supervision of the Additional Commissioner (Crime and Operations) until further instructions are given on the transfer of charge.
