The mother of Syed Shariful Islam, chairman and managing director of MH Media Group Limited and editor and publisher of Dainik Alochit Sanbad and Banglar Kanth Patrika passed away at Magura Medical College Hospital at 5 am on Friday.

He was 98 years old at the time of his death. He was suffering from old age complications for a long time. He was admitted to Magura Medical College Hospital when his condition deteriorated. He breathed his last under treatment there.

According to family sources, the deceased was a very simple, pious and humanitarian woman. During his lifetime, he silently cooperated in various welfare works of the people of the society and was known as a respectable person in the society.
