A passenger died after falling from a moving bus at Shivchar in Madaripur

A passenger named Sattar Howladar (55) died after falling from a moving bus at Madaripur, Dhaka-Bhanga Expressway.

The accident took place on Thursday (May 28) afternoon in the border area adjacent to Padma Setu. The deceased Sattar Howladar is the son of Mofiz Uddin of Sadarpur Upazila of Faridpur.

According to the police, Sattar Hauladar was going to Dhaka in a bus of Trivan Transport which had left from Bhanga for Dhaka. He was sitting on the engine cover at the front of the bus. After reaching Panchchar area on the way, when the bus braked suddenly, he fell through the open door and fell on the road. He died on the spot.

Officer-in-charge of Shibchar Highway Police Station. Mizanur Rahman said,The passenger died after falling through the open door during sudden braking. On receiving the information, the police visited the spot. Legal action is being taken in this incident.
