The body of the missing tourist has been recovered after visiting Tangguer Hao

The body of a missing tourist named Tamim Ahmed (16) who fell into the water of Patlai River while visiting Tanguar Haor of Tahirpur in Sunamganj was recovered after 24 hours.

Tamim Ahmed is the son of Mojibur Rahman of Galua village of Dharmapasha Upazila Sukhair Rajapur South Union of Sunamganj.

On Sunday (May 31) around 4:30 pm, the dead body was found in Madanpur village on the banks of Patlai river in Upazila North Sreepur Union.

Earlier on Saturday (May 30) at 11:30 in the morning, he fell into the Patlai river of Upazila North Sreepur Union and went missing.

It has been found that on Saturday morning, 50-60 people left Tanguar Haor in a tourist boat from Takkerghat. Tamim Ahmed fell from the boat in Sreepur Bazar area while coming to Tanguar Haor through Sreepur Bazar area. Since then he could not be found. After hours, on Sunday afternoon, the dead body was found floating near Madanpur village on the bank of Patlai river, and the relatives of the deceased rescued it with the help of local residents.Tahirpur police station officer-in-charge OC Aminul Islam confirmed the truth.
