
Madaripur rescue person died while undergoing treatment

A young man named Alamgir (45) who was rescued from a rented house in Purba Rasti area of Madaripur town died.
He died on Monday (June 1) at 12 midnight while undergoing treatment at Madaripur Sadar Hospital.
According to police and local sources, Alamgir, a resident of Launchghat area of the city, was missing since last Eid-ul-Azhar. As his mobile phone was switched off, the relatives went to a rented house in Purva Rasti area to inquire. They went there and found the door of the house locked from inside. After calling for a long time and getting no response, the police were informed if the matter seemed suspicious.
On receiving the information, Madaripur Sadar police station reached the spot and with the help of locals broke the door of the house and rescued Alamgir in an unconscious and dazed state. Later he was quickly admitted to Madaripur Sadar Hospital. He died late Monday night while undergoing treatment.
Locals said that Alamgir was unemployed for a long time. He left his locality and was living alone in Purba Rasti area as he was out of touch with his wife due to family reasons.Necessary legal proceedings regarding the incident are said to be ongoing.
