Summary of incident:

02/06/2026 A.H. At 03.00 pm, Md. Emran Hossain (57), a resident of Goalbari village under Gohalbari union under Bholahat police station, father-deceased Shukur Ali, village-Gohalbari, post-sannyasi Tala, police station Bholahat district, Chapainawabganj, when the people of the house sensed the attempted theft of cows and arrested them on suspicion of cow theft. Excited local people of the village victim thief Feroz Ali (40), father-deceased Noor Nabi, mother-Mosa: Ferdousi Begum, wife-Mosa: Latiphone Begum, village-PTI College Basti Village, Thana-Chapai Sadar District-Chapainawabganj. Presently he is living in his father-in-law’s house for 05 years. Swashurbari Village-Gohalbari, Village-Sannyasitala, Thana-Bholahat, District-Chapainawabganj were beaten and injured. As the condition of the injured person worsened, he was taken to the Bholahat Upazila Health Complex for treatment and he died under the treatment of the duty doctor on 02/06/26 at 07.10 in the morning.
