Appreciable success of 3 Armed Police Battalion Khulna in eradicating cyber crime in Khulna region.

Cybercrime unit of Apps and Intelligence branch formed under the command of Additional DIG Mr. MM Salahuddin, Khulna has been playing a very important role in curbing cyber crime in various parts of Khulna region. In the area under the control of the said battalion, illegal weapons recovery, robbery and stolen mobile phone recovery, drug elimination and online financial fraud are being settled. Under the able guidance of Captain Mr. Deputy Captain Superintendent of Police Mr. GM Abul Kalam Azad, PPM. Under the direct supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Mahabubur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Sheikh Md. Yachin Ali, a total of 67 (sixty-seven) mobile phones and Rs. On 28-12-25, Hon’ble captain handed over the said mobile and money to the real owners. Besides, based on the information received from the National Emergency Service 999, 75 (seventy five) complaints were settled and resolved. Besides, 95 (ninety five) complaints received from WhatsApp, Messenger were resolved and 2 (two) hacked Facebook accounts were recovered. While handing over the money and the lost mobile phones to the rightful owners, the captain hoped that,If the response and cooperation of the common people is received, it will be possible to conduct this service program on a larger scale.
