“Special Training of Fire Service to Prevent Earthquake and Fire Accidents in Mohammadpur”

With the initiative of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense, a training workshop was held at Mohammadpur Central College of the capital to prevent earthquake and fire accidents and increase awareness.

“Inauguration of the workshop at Mohammadpur Central College premises on Sunday, November 30 at 11 amMohammadpur Fire Service Senior Station Officer Md Fasir Uddin Sardar. 83 members of BNCC from 8 educational institutions of Mohammadpur participated.”

“In the opening speech, Senior Station Officer of Fire Service, Md Fasir Uddin Sardar said, a kind of panic is working among people after the recent earthquake.

Earthquakes are unpredictable. But these are the things that we need the most prior preparationin case If there is advance preparation then we can deal with any kind of natural calamity.”

“Special training in post-earthquake rescue work is also imparted in the workshop in fire rescue, fire fighting. Also, during these accidents, there is a discussion about staying in a safe place without panicking.”

“This time the principal of Mohammadpur Central College Dr. HM Aliullah,Vice Principal Liaquat Ali, Central College BNCC PUO Sharmin Afroz, Dhaka Residential Model College BNCC PUO Md. Abu Saeed, BNCC Central College Instructor Md. Mansoor Alam, Fire Fighter Md. Harunur Rashid and officials of Fire Service Mohammadpur Station were present.”

“At the end of the workshop, BNCC members participated in a special workshop on earthquake and fire accidents.”
